Image of the week: Reverend Horace Tookes plays “Blue Bayou” on his trumpet for passersby at Civic Center on Thursday. Tookes can be heard playing in front of City Hall almost every day for a few hours. His last songs of the day are always the “Marines’ Hymm” or the “Star Spangled Banner.”

She started off telling me that she was starting to feel better about her (roller-coaster) relationship of 10 months because the guy was finally putting her first and really trying. Next she told me she had stopped using birth control.
