It takes a special kind of band for someone to steal a freight train just to catch your act. Big Dick and the Extenders, long the house band at Woody's in Islamorada and an Upper Keys staple on the music scene for years, is that kind of band.

Treasure Hunters Roadshow arrives today (Asheville Citizen-Times)

ASHEVILLE — The Treasure Hunters Roadshow will stop in Asheville for a five-day stay starting today at the Days Inn at 201 Tunnel Road. Organizers anticipate as many as 1,200 people will bring in their rare and unusual collectibles for evaluation by the Roadshow experts during the visit.
