Multicolored groups in various provinces have come out to oppose the red-shirt demonstrations. Members of the Khon Kaen public from all walks of life have gathered at Khon Kaen's Democracy Monument to oppose the anti-government red-shirt movement.

Lynn Hoblitzel never attended art or design school, but she has created a garden area that neighbors call amazing. Within that large garden, she also runs a business, Stone's Throw, that sells homemade steppingstones and other stone artwork. Developing an effective model for educating future teachers is critical to our national effort to improve student achievement. But programs like Teach for America and N.Y.C. Teaching Fellows that train candidates during the summer and then send them into the classroom do not provide that model.
