Train fans share variety of memorabilia at Galesburg show

In conjunction with the Amtrak 40th Anniversary Exhibit Train stop in Galesburg, there was a Train and Memorabilia Show in the former Carriage House furniture store Saturday. Collectors from across the state came to Galesburg to show off, and in most cases to sell, their assorted memorabilia.

Clovis couple’s garden railway a labor of love

A Clovis couple have transformed their backyard garden into an oasis for model trains. Cal and Juanita Terrasas of Clovis have created a garden railway scene that depicts a train chugging its way through the Tehachapi mountains in their backyard on Birch Avenue.

The Dawleys of Wichita are a fortunate family. Mom and Dad have lived in the same house at 2015 E. Blake since 1968, and their son moved into the house next door several years ago, followed by their daughter and her husband in the house next to his a couple of years ago.
