The 11th annual Waynesboro Lions Club train show is headed to the Mont Alto Volunteer Fire Department from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6. Clovis couple’s garden railway a labor of love

A Clovis couple have transformed their backyard garden into an oasis for model trains. Cal and Juanita Terrasas of Clovis have created a garden railway scene that depicts a train chugging its way through the Tehachapi mountains in their backyard on Birch Avenue.

Retired UP engineer converts passion for trains to wood

Ted Brown is a railroadin’ man. Model trains, that is. The retired Union Pacific Railroad engineer operated trains for 35 years but for the past five years has spent his time, lots of his time, recreating model trains, mostly streamliner locomotives.

Through the month of September, the San Lorenzo Valley Museum, 122547 Highway 9, in Boulder Creek, has a model train exhibition on display. Model trains from families and collectors all over the area have been set up inside the museum for viewing.
