The North Platte Telegraph The White Swan Group, located in Delavan, Wis., has designed the commemorative medallions for Rail Fest for the past three years. This year is the first time owner/president Tom McQueen has made the trip to North Platte to take part in the three-day event.

The North Platte Telegraph As Rail Fest continues to grow and draw worldwide attention from railroad enthusiasts, so do all of the individual activities. This year's Model Train Expo is three times larger than last year's and is expected to grow, according to Original Town Association's Bernie McNulty, who organized this year's expo.

The North Platte Telegraph Representatives from Bowser Manufacturing in Montoursville, Pa., will return to North Platte for the 2009 Rail Fest Celebration on Sept. 18-20 to participate in the model train expo at the D&N Event Center.
