T he Bedford Boomers held their 29th annual Model Railroad Exhibition on Sunday at McKelvie Middle School in Bedford. The “largest noncommercial model display east of the Mississippi River,” according to the club, took place 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

AUGUSTA -- The Great Falls Model Railroad Club of Auburn and Maine 3-Railers, based in Augusta, will share their collections and knowledge about model trains during the two-day Model Railroad Celebration at the Maine State Museum Dec. 3-4.

The Bedford Boomers will host its 28th annual Model Railroad Exhibition from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 7 at the McKelvie Middle School. The exhibition is the largest noncommercial display of model trains east of the Mississippi River.

More than half of Wisconsin's Wi-Fi hotspots are now free as consumers increasingly turn to coffee shops, restaurants and other businesses for an Internet connection. Wisconsin has about 1,300 hotspots where the general public can get online with a wireless connection, according to Wired Wisconsin.
