Stanford team trains computer to evaluate breast cancer

( Stanford University Medical Center ) In a paper to be published Nov. 9 in Science Translational Medicine, computer scientists at the Stanford School of Engineering and pathologists at the Stanford School of Medicine report their collaboration to train computers to analyze breast cancer microscopic images. The computer analysis were more accurate than those conducted by humans.

4-H’ers interests include model trains

MEDINA — Not all 4-H’ers are involved with farm animals and agriculture at the Medina County Fair. Some interests travel along the rails toward model trains. When you think of great combinations, bridal gowns and mud is not the first one that springs to mind. But Saturday, 36 photographers and 16 models got together on the grounds at Unity of Naples Church in East Naples for a “Trash the Dress” photo shoot, and the mud and the models met.
