For Rare And Hard To Find Model Trains
Everyone knows easing up on the accelerator can improve your fuel economy and reduce your emissions. But what kind of impact would it have on the environment if everyone had to slow down? A potentially big one, as it turns out.
As large and orange as it is, it is still easy to drive right by this piece of history sitting beside Wisconsin Street.The caboose looks like all the other bits of railroad equipment that dot this end of the village near the spot where the old Amtrak depot once stood. But the big orange caboose is part of the Sturtevant Rails Railroad Museum.

John Matea and Paul Hobin have proven train sets and doll houses aren't just for children. They've taken model building to the next level. Walk into the spare room in their house and you're met with a birds-eye view of the city of North Bay.
The desire for more rail crossings was made well-known Wednesday night in Encinitas at a City Council meeting and at a North County Transit District workshop held, coincidentally, next door at the same time.
