Adults and children alike waited in line Aug. 6 for a chance to ride on 1/8 scale model trains at the Northeastern Ohio Live Steamers rail trail in the Medina County Park District just off Lester Road.

Musikfest is about music, but the Lehigh & Keystone Valley Model Railroad Museum puts out the welcome mat to Bethlehem visitors during its annual Musikfest open house 2-5 p.m. Aug. 6-7 and 13-14 at 705 Linden St.
COUNCIL BLUFFS — "We were just one of those families that, if we went on vacation, we would go to museums. My grandfather is a huge model train enthusiast, so a love of trains was not foreign to my family."

All aboard! National Train Day rolls into Naples on Saturday, May 7, at the Naples Depot Cultural Center. Organizers want to raise the awareness of the importance of trains to the history of Southwest Florida — also, they add, it’s a chance to play with really neat model trains on exhibit there.
