The tiny trains in Ric Keller’s Georgetown basement are going to have a lot of company soon. Keller will be hosting three busloads of model railroad enthusiasts on July 7 at his Lakeridge Drive home. He has the only N scale stop on the Model Railroad Tour during the 2009 convention of the National Model Railroad Association in Hartford, Conn.

Visitors to Brooks Academy can relive the Age of Steam with the Harwich Historical Society’s railroad exhibit, “All Aboard the Harwich Railroad,” featuring a 17x20 foot working model layout of the Hyannis-Orleans line, built by the Nauset Model Railroad Club. The exhibit is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m., June 26 to Oct. 11 at Brooks Academy Museum.
