WAYNESVILLE — The Smoky Mountain Model Railroaders will set up their collection of electric Lionel model trains Friday at Fun Things Etc., 196 N. Main St. The free display will be open through Feb. 12.

More than model trains moves the patrons of East Memphis toy store
Children and adults alike watched with wide-eyed fascination as model trains circled the three tracks on the 16-by-24 foot table set up in the Sellersburg Moose Lodge on Saturday.
Don't invite 10-year-old Kyle Deschner to play Nintendo Wii, Xbox or PlayStation video games. Kyle, a fifth-grader at Our Redeemer Lutheran School, is a hands-on kid who'd rather play with model trains than those one-dimensional, on-screen devices.

2,500 model train enthusiasts to chug into Easley
The Central Railway Model and Historical Association Inc. will have its 15th Annual Train Show on Feb. 26-27 at the J.B. Owens Sports Complex, Bagwell Gymnasium, 111 Walkers Way, Easley.
