Program trains young people with autism for jobs

When the six Henrico County students with autism started job-training internships last fall at St. Marys Hospital, most wouldnt make eye contact with each other or the hospital staff. Yesterday marked a milestone for the studentsthey not only completed the internships with more job skills and greater confidence, but they also got job offers to work at St. Marys.

A long time ago, 20 years at least, we decided to visit parts of Britain we did not know. We started with a trip to the Lleyn Peninsula in North Wales, dreaming of mountains and seascapes and lava bread with dinner.
