It's the economy, stupid. But even the smart guys on the speakers list at the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association's Commercial Vehicle Outlook 2010, held in Dallas Aug. 25-26, didn't know exactly where it's headed, though they tried hard to guestimate its puzzling course.
