Yuri Foreman leans over a table in the corner of Gleason's Gym, a newsboy cap pulled down over his dark, piercing eyes. The thud of heavy bags and the rat-a-tat of speed bags form a mesmerizing rhythm around him, and for a moment he's at a loss for words. He just smiles instead, and it's hard to blame him.

Poverty drives boy to suicide (The Telegraph)

A 12-year-old boy hanged himself in his shanty on Rabindra Sarani on Tuesday morning. Police said Santosh Gujrati, a hawker, lived alone after his brother committed suicide six months ago. Santosh’s father lives in Gujarat. A probe suggests poverty had led the boy to kill himself.
