PORTLAND, Ore. -- TriMet will seek a second round of service cuts this year, the agency confirmed Thursday. Bus routes were cut and MAX service frequency decreased in controversial cuts finalized just two weeks ago. Those cuts take effect in September.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Thirty years of Tuesday nights is a little more than a whopping 1500 nights. I met a group of men who have spent all of those nights together. And every one of those Tuesday nights was spent playing with model trains.

The local holiday tradition that is now The Trains at NorthPark began more than six decades ago under Ban Bywaters' family Christmas tree. "Today," said Mr. Bywaters, 60, a vice president at Merrill Lynch, "it's become bigger that I could have imagined." And a lot different.
