Keough will Honor Two in Triathlon (East Aurora Advertiser)

Mary Keough of East Aurora, an employee of Immaculata Academy in Hamburg, announced last week that she will be swimming, cycling and running in the Philadelphia Triathlon in honor of two local blood cancer patients: her father, John Keough of North Collins, and five-year-old Malena Mercurio of East Aurora.

Aurora Board will Hear Rail Line Plans Monday (East Aurora Advertiser)

The Aurora Town Board will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Mon. March 9 on the proposed conversion of a railway line to a public trail. The 27.6-mile line runs from Orchard Park to Ashford in Cattaraugus County, and goes through the Town of Aurora in the hamlet of West Falls.
